The Bible

We believe the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testament, to be the only inspired and inerrant Word of God and the supreme and final authority for our faith and life.

The Trinity

We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus was fully God and fully human. He was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for the sins we have committed.  He rose from the dead in bodily form and ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven.  Jesus will return a second time in power and glory. 

Redemption

We believe that for salvation of sinful humanity, becoming a new creation by the Holy Spirit is essential. We believe the only way to redemption (to be saved) is by confession of Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide.

The Resurrection

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life, and they that are lost to a resurrection of eternal punishment and separation from God.

Spiritual Unity

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ.

Biblical Authority

Scripture: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105

Core Idea: God’s Word leads us.

Explanation: We believe the Bible is the ultimate authority for life and faith. It reveals God’s truth, shapes our beliefs, and directs our steps as we follow Jesus.

Prayer

Scripture: “Pray without ceasing.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Core Idea: We rely on prayer in all things.

Explanation: Prayer is not optional—it’s essential. We express our dependence on God in every circumstance, seeking His wisdom, guidance, and presence daily.

Community Involvement

Scripture: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” – Mark 12:31

Core Idea: We love and serve our neighbors.

Explanation: God’s love compels us to action. We go beyond our walls to meet needs, serve our community, and demonstrate Christ’s love in practical ways.

Authentic Relationships

Scripture: “Encourage one another and build each other up.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Core Idea: We support each other through life.

Explanation: Faith is lived out in relationships. We walk together through joys and challenges, encouraging and strengthening one another as God’s family.

Generosity

Scripture: “God loves a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7

Core Idea: We give freely and joyfully.

Explanation: Because God has given us everything, we hold nothing back. We give our time, resources, and talents with joy, trusting Him to use them for His kingdom.
